Hi,
I am having problem to have a verification code on my phone number. My whatsapp account is not working, saying that my account cannot be activated on this phone number, well I was using whatsapp from the same ohkne number from 2 months. In the last when i am trying to verify my account , I am nit getting verification code to the phone number.
kindly help me out from this situation.

done all that and still not receiving verification texts. Now its my time to ask questions:
Should verification texts sent from abroad to a Canadian number and that person being in Canada at the time, be received under normal circumstances.

I’ve got 6 iPhones on my Bell account and none of them can receive 2FA texts from WhatsApp. I’ve done all of the previous mentioned troubleshooting and still no joy. I feel that Bell is blocking these texts somehow. Others on Rogers and Telus have not had any issue registering on WhatsApp. Please help.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum
- Making sure you’re using the latest version of WhatsApp installed on your phone.
- Making sure you meet all of the requirements when you register your phone number.
- Turning off your phone, wait 30 seconds, and turning it back on.
- Deleting and reinstalling the latest version of WhatsApp.
- Checking your reception by sending an SMS message from any phone to your phone number. Make sure you’re sending it to the same phone number you entered in WhatsApp, including the country code.
FYI Only. For security reasons, WhatsApp can't send your code via email or any method other than an SMS message or phone call. They can only send a registration code through email if you’re re-registering your phone number and you’ve already added your email address to your account in your WhatsApp settings, during your initial registration, or during two-step verification setup.

I'm trying to login to my Walmart account, but I'm not receiving their 2FA messages after switching to Bell Mobility. The 2FA screen says to call customer support if you're having issues, but their response is that it's a Bell problem. They do not offer alternative 2FA login methods.
I've tried the 2FA short code i saw in the forum, but it did not help.

Did you port your number recently from another carrier? If so, you will need to contact Bell Mobility Tech Supoort at: 1 800 667-0123 or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device. This would normally be a carrier issue requiring a reset.

Thanks, unfortunately the Bell rep had no clue what i was talking about. This is obviously a known issue, since I've experienced it twice before with other ports, so it boggles my mind that telcos don't address this issue when they port the number or that their staff are not properly trained.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
Give the suggestions on this thread a try and make sure that you verify your information in the Walmart app to ensure it is sending the information to the correct number.
If all is correct, you will have to get in touch with Walmart for further testing.

Hi There
I am dealing with the same DFA text issue from an overseas bank outlined in this thread.
I've contacted the 28849 number with both INFO and HELP messages, but to no avail. I've even gone back to the foreign bank to ask them to troubleshoot on their end - they checked with their IT dept, who insists the problem is with my local telecom provider in Canada. At my wits end -please help. Thanks
