I was wondering when is 4K going to come to the satalite tv. I know five has channels but when will it come to satalite . It been a while and have not hear any mention of it . Or is it outdated service that just going to die out . Casue bell can’t use Fibe network in bc but live out of town that Telus and Shaw can’t get to us but was wondering .

I don't think you will ever see 4K on Satellite.....4K is not popular enough in the industry and most likely wont get popular anytime soon. You need 4K content tapes with 4K camera, broadcasted in 4K with 4K receiver connected to a 4K TV. This is still far away and there might be limited content on FIBE but I dont think it will go to Satellite. Look at what Bell is doing to free up some sattelite space by removing some CTVHD channels.....looks like they cant load such heavy & rich content on their limited systems.

Hello I'm purchasing a new 4K TV and was wondering if Bell has and satellite receivers that are 4K compatible since Fibe TV is not available in my area.
