Hi there @tiber1. Thanks for reaching out to the Bell Community, and welcome to the family 🙂

We would just like to clarify, are you trying to use two different Bell Fibe TV remotes on the same receiver? You should only be using one Bell Fibe remote to control your TV receiver (the one provided during installation). Is there something specific you are trying to accomplish by using two remotes?

Good Day.

Everything is possible.  As you suggest, you can pair another identical remote control.

You should only be using one Bell Fibe remote to control your TV receiver (the one provided during installation).

As you mentioned, Bell does not support this. You will not have full & complete functionality on both remotes to control all TV receiver functions.

Take care.

There are two of us... our chairs are too far apart to share one remote... since we rather like each other, and he's deaf so we cannot easily relay requests, and we want to let each other live, we want two remotes.

Yes, you can. I have multiple 7802 and 5562 remotes all in working condition with the latest box.

I have 2 remotes controlling the android fibe box. It's not supported by Bell but it works.

Go into the settings under remotes and add a new one. You will have to put the new remote into pairing mode, which you do by pressing the play/pause button and the home button together for 3 seconds. It should start trying to connect but won't get to connected status. But as long as the up and down buttons change the selections in the menu it is connected so just hit the back button to get out.

One caveat.. only one control can control the volume.

It took me a long time to find the button combination that puts it into pairing mode. Bell support doesn't seem to be aware of it. They just send you a new one, which is how I ended up with two.
