Hi there @Marc04
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
You are able to use mouse / keyboard on the Bell Streamer. Although, please note if you run into issues, it is not something we support.

That’s a good question. Things like keyboards and mice can only be connected to a TV by Bluetooth or to a computer that feeds a TV, I believe.

Good Day.

Great idea. Unfortunately, it is not possible. By default, the remote is paired to the Bell Streamer using Bluetooth. There is nothing built in to be able to pair this to a mouse or keyboard.

Take care,

@Marc04 an update.

You can connect both a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to your bell streamer.

From home screen

Choose settings from menu

Choose device settings top left of settings screen

This takes you into the android device settings which are separate from the box settings.

After all it is merely an android box with a bell app UI built on top.

On the right choose

remotes and accessories

Choose add a device.

Set up your Bluetooth mouse or keyboard to begin pairing

You will see your device appear in a list. Choose it to pair. Wait until it says connected.

You can now control the screen with your mouse.

For a keyboard you will get a pairing number to be entered on number keys and press enter.

I have often used a keyboard for typing searches or entering passwords when I have had to do a factory reset. Have never used the mouse but I suspect it would make for a lot less clicking of the remote to move around selection of apps.

I don't no whether the next thing is possible with the streamer android set up but on fire stick and no idea which are both fibe tv app supported devices you can connect Bluetooth game controllers to those devices for Google TV game apps.

Users may not be aware you can play games on the bell android devices.

I don't have a working game controller at this time. So if someone is able to do this let the forum users know.

@Marc04let the forum know if you get a keyboard or mouse connected by Bluetooth.

There are interesting gems to be found if one explores the full android TV settings options and games and other apps available.

Have fun with more than just tv if you wish.

Good Day.

As I mentioned earlier, I am not aware of any method or setting on the Bell Streamer that will allow you to control Fibe TV with a mouse. By default, the remote is paired to the Bell Streamer using Bluetooth. There is nothing built into the Streamer that allows you to change this and / or be able to use a mouse to control Fibe TV.

If you do come up with a method, by all means, please share this with the community.

Take care,

Thanks for the clarification. Therin lies the benefit of a user forum. There are many things technologically that people with knowledge in technology or experience can tell us to help us use the technology provided to its fullest capabilities.

Glad to get clarity.
