Channel feed alternating between CNBC World & CNBC US

The feed is alternating between CNBC World and CNBC US.  This morning it was CNBC World (not Good) eventually it was changed to CNBC US (good).  It has now reverted back to CNBC World (Not Good).

Hi everyone,

Thank you very much for reaching out to the Bell community 🙂

This has been corrected and the content on CNBC US should now match what is listed in the guide.

Please let us know if you are having any more trouble.

Thanks for your question. When a specific show or content does not sell the rights to their content beyond the original provider or to a Canadian broadcaster, the feed may be switched to another provider channel. In this case the feed is switched from CNBC US to CNBC World. The switch is beyond Bell’s control. This is also similar in televised sports and when US programs are broadcast in Canada at the same time. Bell is required by regulation to switch the signal on the US station to a Canadian station. Your concern would be best directed to CNBC.

Usually when these things happen it is because the provider changes the feed. Bell just receives the feed and retransmits it. Bell doesn't arbitrarily change channels.

I'm aware of this but usually when there is a holiday or Olympics  (either before or after) the feed gets screwed up and nobody wants to tell CNBC. Doesn't make sense paying an additional fee for CNBC when I don't get CNBC as there are alternatives.

Sirius XM is broadcasting CNBC US. If this is a Canadian only problem, Bell should make sure to rectify it. CNBC is the only reason I use Fibe.

Same problem right now and Bell support does not seem to either understand the problem or be able to solved it.

Too little too late for me as I have remove CNBC from my list of channels.

I live in Etobicoke and my CNBC feed is still showing CNBC World. It has been this way since Friday. Please switch me back to CNBC US ASAP.  Thanks.

Hi there @WBL
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Upon looking into this, there is no issue being experienced at this time. There will be times where the CNBC World feed will be showing instead of CNBC due to embargos or content rights. This is at the discretion of the content provider.

and on Friday there were embargos or content rights....:-(

So what was the issue for the last few days? Can you be more specific ehy the shows I have been watching are no longer permitted so must be switched to alternate feed? When should I expect to see the shows i have been watching regularly. Please don't just patronize me with a meaningless scripted answer. Thanks.
