The Fibe TV App on my Hisense Google TV is not loading any streams. The App opens with no issues and I can see the channel guide and everything works, but when you select something to play - It flash a black screen for a couple of seconds and then goes back to the selection screen. This has worked with no issues for the last year and everything else works fine. YouTube, Netflix, Disney, Plex, all load and work fine to watch anything with no issues
I have uninstall and reinstalled - cleared cache - I have done just about everything short of resetting the TV to factory defaults - oh and the TV is connected by ethernet and not Wifi
Anyone know if their are logs that can be generated or accessed to see if something is crashing?
I am pretty good with most tech stuff, but this has me stumped
Anyone see this before and have a suggestion?

Hi there @Binks905
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Are you able to share the model number of television you have?
Can you share which firmware / software version your television is on?
Is the Fibe TV app up to date with the latest version?
Looking forward to hearing back.

Same problem here. Started with the last app update. All these suggestions, which amount to “turn it off and on again” are not helpful. Bell needs to fix the app, or I gotta look elsewhere soon.

I have pretty much given up getting this working and everything points to an issue with the Bell AP, as everything else works fine.
I have a 75" U68KM, and like one of the other posters it started happening after the latest ap update. I can go into the SportsNet AP and use my bell creds and get the Jays's game to stream no problem. Go to the Bell AP and try to watch it and it will not load. I have updated everything and I have even reset the TV to factory defaults and reinstalled everything and still it will not load and content selected
I called Bell and opened a ticket and they updated the modem and ran test and said they would call back if they find anything - crickets since

Thank you for your comments. You are correct. There are limitations on the Fibe TV app. It is compatible with Apple TV 4K, Amazon Fire TV Stick (Basic Edition or higher), Android TV devices (Sony Android TVs, NVIDIA, Xiaomi Mi Box) and Google Chromecast (1st, 2nd, 3rd gen. or Ultra) as indicated here. Devices not listed are not currently supported by the app. A Bell Fibe internet connection with Unlimited data is also required. I can't comment on when or if Bell will update the app, as that is not information Bell provides.

Sad if so, as it worked until an August update which basically screws existing customers. Looks like cancellation time.

With respect, it does not work on my Sony Bravia TV either. I simply quoted Bell’s own information. To use the Fibe app on my Sony TV I went to an Amazon Firestick, as it is free with my Amazon Prime subscription. The Firestick was bought on sale for around $20.
