Good News We were connected yesterday to Bell Fibe. Overall very pleased. One major surprise is the US networks are based in Detroit not Boston. Make us very happy as we live in Sarnia.
Bad news when watching any hockey on my new HiSence TV, it has a really bad picture whether on 4K or HD. The ice service is grey and scratchy and the arena looks like its full of smoke. Doesn't matter if its a live broadcast or just highlites on a sports show. Works fine on my Cogeco receiver. Tried to change every setting I could find on my TV - no improvement. I downloaded the Bell Fibe App and the picture is great again although I understand the App does not allow for 4K viewing - not good. None of this is an issue using our Samsung 32" monitor. Any suggestions that would allow me to use the Bell Fibe receiver to watch hockey with good picture quality..

Hey there @Al-134
Thank you for your post 🙂
Interesting. Since this happens only on your HiSense TV it could be a TV setting or even the HDMI port/cord.
What settings did you test on your TV set; is motion smoothing or MEMC enabled? Are you using the HDMI cord that came with the Fibe TV box and have you also tested a different HDMI port?

I hooked up my new Bell receiver to my previous Panosonic Plasma TV and it worked fine. No issues with on any sports programs including hockey. It would appear my issue is only with the HiSense TV. I am using the HDMI supplied by Bell and I have changed the HDMI port on my TV with the same results.
I have changed multiple video settings on the TV. Seems to be different settings available depending whether I am using the Bell receiver or the Bell App. Bottom line I will continue to work with the TV settings. It does not appear to be an issue with Bell.
Thanks for your help.
