Missing channels - Fibe TV

CHCH and Omni channels are a couple of channels that are a part of the “better” package through Fibe TV but I’m not allowed to have them. I’ve been given numerous reasons. They were available in my region when I was with Cogeco so why not with Bell? Only with time shifting? Then why is it shown as part of my package? I’ve called a couple of times and they refuse to let me have it! Ugh.

Hi @Pancakie thanks for reaching out to the Bell Community.

Just to clarify, are you using Fibe TV or the Fibe TV app?

Currently OMNI 2 & CHCH are available with the Fibe TV Better TV package in select areas

If not included with the Better package in your area, you can add the Timeshifting package which includes both CHCH & OMNI.

Check out the links below to view the channels included in each package with Fibe TV & which channels are available with the Fibe TV App.

You can also view/change your current channel line-up directly in MyBellOpens in a new tab or window

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum

In order for the Community to better assist can you please clarify?

  • Which receiver model(s) do you have?
  • If you have more than one receiver, does this issue occur on all of them?
  • Which television package do you subscribe to? Did you change television package?
  • Which stations are missing?
  • Have you verified on MyBell your television package & the stations that are included?
  • Have you checked your Guide settings on your new device?

Sometimes finding a channel that’s gone missing is as simple as switching views in the guide. Find out how a channel might be hidden in the guide

Take care.

I have Bell Fibe as a TV package, I don’t mean the app. I should get OMNI, CHCH, Yes TV as part of my better package. Why was I shown all of these channels if I am not even able to access all of them? I could access them when I was with Cogeco. I shouldn’t have to pay for a “time shifting package” to get channels I am already paying for. I think with technology today I am able to receive the broadcasting and that I am in the selected area.

So CHCH, OMNI and Yes TV are channels that are available in my area and are listed as part of the “Better Package” on Bell.ca, however at some point they were removed from the package I have and are only available through the Time Shifting package which is $5 a month. Too bad for me that they admittedly did not update their website. False advertising? I can have the Time Shifting package for free for 6 months and that’s all. I’m paying for the “Better” package but I wouldn’t agree with that title.

Simply switch to starter + a la carte 5/10 and order the time-shift separately to cut costs. No one needs anything else besides the minimum a la carte pack with the starter, unless you wanna track all paid news coverage on big events like Queen’s funeral while recording a couple of your favorite shows at the same time.

Has the Better Channel package recently changed?

Noticed missing channels today. 201, 203, 205, 602......

All channels show up on maybell account channel list.

Not showing up in the Fibe TV guide

Did you hide all the sd channels? I’m in mtl and still can see them on all the platforms.

Hello

I have tried multiple times to resolve this issue and literally no one will listen.

A few weeks ago I noticed I was missing channels that have been part of my package for many many years. Rebooting the receiver does nothing. The channels that I have noticed are missing are MLB Network 607, stations between 433 and 448, stations between 622 and 645. There could be more. This has been exceedingly frustrating and to be honest I expect it will never be resolved. I am looking at my options.

Looking forward to hearing back.

Lost some of the channels I'm subscribed to. Did the 10 power button and synchronized them. No change

I just noticed your post. What channels are missing for you?

I had to change devices for the fibe app and when I I stalled on new device half of the channels are missing. These are all Canadian channels. I no longer have access to my local stations, tsn also and no stations in the lower 600's. I got them all yesterday on the old device but gone today on the new device.

I have the basic Chanel package  and I dont see half of the channels that I am suppose to see, I made some a change with the other package, could it be the reason? Even if I didn’t change anything in that package
