Remote control skips stations and can’t input channel number. Eg push 1500, guide jumps to 1,5,55,111 etc…

2 of your installation techs tried all that several times. I've tried all that several times. Same problems. I've talked to several 1st and 2nd level support techs and my case was escalated higher up.

Hey there @Guy lafleur 🙂
Thanks for reaching out to the Bell community and for all of the troubleshooting you have tried so far.
Can you clarify what color light you see when pressing a button on your remote and if you were able to try the step by step that we posted in our helpful reply
?
Hope to hear from you soon,

This worked for me! Best response for Fibe remote skipping through channels while in guide mode. Would happen going up or down in the guide or moving forward or backwards to different days.

Hi @jp416
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Bell community.
Can you clarify exactly what is happening and which receiver model you have?
Is there anything that could be blocking the signal between your remote and receiver, such as furniture, walls, glass cabinet doors, etc.? Please keep in mind It is best to have a clear line of site between the receiver and the remote. Have you tried putting a new set of batteries into the remote?
The remotes are covered with a twelve month warranty. So, if you continue to have trouble and a replacement remote is needed there should be no additional cost if you have had the remote for under twelve months.
