Is there a faster way of turning closed captions on and off for tv, rather than going through the settings>accessibility steps? It takes about 15 clicks to get it done that way.

Faster way: use the right-direction button to bring up viewing options.
Slower way/customization: use the left-direction button to bring up a menu with settings.

Or you can try the Viewing Options List. 7 clicks only and no on screen motion.

Still a weirdly laborious process just to get subtitles on and off. With Rogers it was 2 clicks. On my tv remote it’s 1 when viewing dvds for example.
