I purchased a USB wi-fi adapter to connect to my 9400 receiver. I have good signal (all 3 green dots lite up). When I go into my Fibe TV app all is good and my receiver shows online and I can do everything I want to do. However it never lasts more than a day at most and the receiver shows up as offline in my app again. I’m not having any problems with anything else connected to my wifi and in fact recently upgraded my modem so I know it’s not that. The only way to fix the issue is when I get back home I have to unplug the USB wi-fi adapter and go through the connection process all over again - I’ve done this at least 6 times. Any solutions out there? I even purchased a second wi-fi adapter thinking I might have got a faulty one - exact same thing is happening with the second one

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
You mentioned "I have a satellite Wi-Fi Adapter (USB) attached to 9431 receiver." Could you verify your receiver model number? E.g. 9241, 9242, 9400
It may well be defective. Before deciding to replace the adapter, have you look at the following:
- You may need to disconnect all of your devices to confirm that it is functioning properly. If you choose to do so, disconnect them one at a time.
- Have you made any physical changes in your location that might impede the the Wi-Fi signal?
- I trust it is in an open space. Have you tried moving it away from the receiver & other electronic devices?
- A defective device attached to your Wi-Fi can also cause the adapter to fail. E.g. Bulbs, speakers, etc.
- Are all of your other devices working properly?
- Your problem could also be receiver related. In order to prove this, you would need to have another compatible receiver to connect the Wi-Fi adapter to.
- Has anything environmentally changed in or around the adapter, etc.?
If defective, you may well need to replace adapter. I have included the Bell web page should you decide to do so.

Receiver 9241 which functions fine otherwise.
No other changes made in my apartment… no obstructions… Internet speed is good.
Latest CSR said warranty is only 1 year. Only option is to purchase a new one $25.
I probably won’t do this… leaning towards cutting the cable so probably won’t throw money at a device that can only be used on the satellite receiver.
