A bit of a delay when changing channels is normal. Can you share how long exactly the delay is in your case?
You can try rebooting your equipment, and also change the batteries in your remote to see if that makes a difference.

Are there any obstructions between the remote and the receiver (glass, furniture, etc)?
If you point the remote directly at the receiver from a foot or 2 away, is there still that delay?

delay is 10 to 20 seconds.Tried reloading first thing and then changed the remote batteries when it first started. No luck.
