I haven't been able to get call display to work for well over a year. Last time I called Bell for help they said it is probably my phone. I bought a new phone, VTECH CS6919-3, which allows call display, and it still won't work. I can't find any help on-line, could someone please advise me Thanks!

Moderators @BellNick and @BellPatricia were able to get my issue resolved. They had knowledgeable technicians contact me. The techs determined It was a hardware problem in the local switch box and had it replaced. Thanks again to both Nick and Patricia who stuck with it!

I also can't get my call display to work. My whole landline was out of service for a couple of days until a tech came to fix it, but for some reason the call display still isn't working. Everything else is okay. Can I get some help on here please and thank you?

Hi again Chuckie, just wanted to let you know that Patricia was able to fix my Call Display, and to say thanks for your kind help with this!

Hi Patricia. I see you had another happy customer. So, I hate to tell you this but my call display has stopped working. It was good for a couple days then gone again. Thoughts?

Thanks

Chuckie

Very interesting @chuckie. I certainly want to take a closer look, and we will be in touch shortly.

Hi all. Same issue with call display. It stopped working about 2 weeks ago. Nothing unusual happened with my landline service...just poof gone. Any help would be appreciated @BellNick  @BellPatricia

Hi there @SRS
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Do you happen to have another phone that you are able to test to see if the display works?

Looking forward to hearing back.

Thanks for the reply, and sorry for the delayed response as I was gone camping. Unfortunately I have no other phones to test with. I went from seeing the calling number displayed to not during the span of a day. If I enable call announce on the phones it will audibly say the number and display it but that is it... I made no changes to the phone settings prior to call display not working. I use call display to screen my incoming calls to filter out unwanted telemarketing / etc. Call display is a very important feature to me to avoid taking the excessive number of useless daily calls.

Thanks,

SRS

The problem has resolved itself for an unknown reason 😁🤷 Not sure why or how but I now have call display again. Thanks again.

I also recently switched to Fibe and am having issues with call display. I'm using an AT&T CL82407 telephone set and call display worked while I was on copper. After Fibe was installed, I only received "Incoming Call" on the handset display instead of the name and number as was the case previously. I spent a couple of hours with Bell 2nd line tech support who reset the home phone program, and immediately afterwards two calls (one from Bell and another from my cell phone) were properly displayed. The next few calls after that, however, went back to "Incoming Call." The Bell support person said that the changes may take 24 hours to propagate through the network. It's been more than a week and the problem persists (on rare occasions I'll get a telephone number but no name but mostly they're all just "Incoming Calls"). If someone from Bell could look into this a little deeper.

Thanks.
