I haven't been able to get call display to work for well over a year. Last time I called Bell for help they said it is probably my phone. I bought a new phone, VTECH CS6919-3, which allows call display, and it still won't work. I can't find any help on-line, could someone please advise me Thanks!

Hey @Wilson
Just checking in to see how everything went with your technician visit. Were they able to resolve the issue while they were on site?

UPDATE
Thank-you @BellPatricia for your interest and help. The Bell Loyalty agent did not get back to me at all and the problem remains the same, which is that at times landline calls show us INCOMING CALL on the call display. Again, as I stated previously this is the exact same problem I had in 2017. I do not think that a tech home visit with a new router will resolve this as the agent had suggested but that i its s likely at a Bell switching box as before.
The majority of all my incoming phone calls are directed to my cellphone, only the IMPORTANT phone calls are directed to my home phone and yes unfortunately SPAM as well.
Is Bell capable of addressing this issue?

@BellNick I have had horrible past experiences with Bell first line support reps who had created so many problems for me attempting to fix the same issue in the past. The previous same issue was April 2017 and more recently last year which is when I managed to get in contact with a case manager and without him I would have had no voice mail and no ident a call number after inept support getting involved. In the end I was told to take my home phones in for service and one even told me to subscribe to call display and that I need to pay for it. This is something I have done since the introduction of call display by Bell. The case manager I know said he will contact senior technical support . I waited about four months and nothing has been done. Now all calls appear as INCOMING CALL,

Hello all,
I just wrote this out and lost it by accident, so mercury retrograde is in effect all right! Anyway, here goes again! So ever since Bell had that huge outage of internet and phone etc back in May I think it was, after I got my services back after a long time and much frustration, my landline wasn't working right. I did get it back, but now I'm noticing that all my calls show up as Unavailable Name & Number? Even ones that previously had a name and number, and have had for years, suddenly they too are "Unavailable". I tested this out by using their phone to call mine, and at my end it's 'unavailable', I also tested my cell phone by calling it from landline, and my own name and number show up fine, but when I do it in reverse and use cell to call home phone it shows up as unavailable. It's getting on my nerves frankly! The home phone is a Panasonic KX-TGF350C and has 2 handsets. Hope that someone can help me! Thanks in advance. Avis

Thank you for your concern. Have you tried the Virtual Repair Tool found on the MyBell web page or in the MyBell app? Running this can solve some issues. If you do run it, please report any results you may see.

Just an update, thank you to @BellNick for checking and finding my call display had been missing at the back end, and he replaced it manually! Problem resolved so far, I checked with my cell phone, but have yet to have an incoming call to really see if it's fixed now, but think it probably is. Thanks for all the help, and prompt attention to the matter. 🙂

Good Day.
Is this a new phone or a recently added feature? Do you have Bell Home phone Choice? Visual Call Waiting?
Some phones are equipped to show only the number, while others show the number or the name, one at a time. To toggle back and forth, try using either the arrow key or the * button. Check your phone’s user manual to see which one applies for your phone.
Also, the name/number may not display if:
- The party calling you has chosen to block their name/number.
- The call is coming from businesses using a Centrex line.
- The call is from overseas.
The call is coming from another service provider that is not sharing the call information with Bell.
If your phone is equipped to show the name, try powering your device off by unplugging from the power source & plugging it back in then.
If this does not resolve your issue and you are on Bell Fibre try running the Bell Virtual repair tool. This in itself can repair a number of issues. Bell - Virtual repair tool
If this does not resolve your problem and or you are not on fibre, you may need to contact Bell Home phone tech support. They may need to reset you phone line.
Please call: 1 866 310-BELL (2355) or dial #611 from any Bell mobile device.
Let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Take care.

Hello thanks for your reply, but I did an update a while back that Nick solved my problem, the call waiting for some unknown reason was missing at the back end, so he replaced it and now it all works fine!
