Can’t connect Bluetooth on new bell wifi pod

Hey y'all wondering if anyone had this problem. Just got a bell Wi-Fi pod in the mail to extend the Wi-Fi reach to the back of the house (I have a long home and the modem is at the front). I've got the bell Wi-Fi app. Bluetooth is on.

All you're supposed to do is plug it in - wait for the Bluetooth to connect and follow the prompts in the bell app.

Well no matter how many times I try the thing won't attempt to connect to my phone. I'm running an iPhone 14pro max. I know Bluetooth works cause it's connected to my watch and worked on my motorcycle no probler earlier today. I've also done this Bluetooth method with other devices like home security cameras. I've tried plugging unplugging, resetting my phone. I've clicked on the search for pods in the app before and after plugging it in. I've tried plugging it in via Ethernet and moving it to right beside the modem just incase that was the issue, just various attempts at the obvious fixes. And it just doesn't connect to Bluetooth even if I wait several minutes. The pod has a white light that turns on and flashes on and off and every few minutes a fan starts running then turns off.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here or what's going?

I’ve also connected it to the modem and it just shows up as another device like my Xbox or phone and I can’t set it up that way.
I’m also holding the devices practically on the pod so Bluetooth distance shouldn’t be a factor.

Hi,

Just to help out the next users who see this, I was able to reach a chat technical support agent and they said that the Serial numbers were not added to my account and told me to wait until tomorrow and try again. That's why the pods were not showing in the App.

Well bit of a long story but the tech ended up configuring my Wi-Fi with separate 2.4 and 5 GHz ones.  The pods came on line.  Do you have your network configured this way with separate SSIDs?

Hi, just wondering if there was a resolution to this inquiry? I’m having a similar issue with my first pod that I just recieved. It’s LED flashes white when I plug it in, and the app does not seem to be able to find it.

Is there a resolution for this?  I'm having the same issue.

Just received 2 new pods. Plugged them in and the white light is flashing. When I open the bell wifi app it doesn’t recognize either pods and my Bluetooth is on. My husband tried with his phone and the same thing.

Went to the chat and worked with an operator for 30 minutes. He said he reconfigured my pods, to wait 40 minutes and the light should be solid and I can connect. Unfortunately, I still have the same problem. The wifi app is not recognizing the pods. Can anyone help with a solution?

I am having the same exact problem. Connected via Ethernet, pod is powered, recognized as a device by the modem. I cannot get it to connect in the Bell WiFi app via Bluetooth. Is there a solution to this?

I am having the same exact problem as mentioned by others in the forum. I cannot get the Wi-Fi pod to connect in the Bell WiFi app via Bluetooth. Both my wife and myself have tried on separate devices and we continue to receive the prompt to turn on Bluetooth when it is already enabled. Is there a solution to this?

Hi,

I am having the same problem as others have noted. Just received a new (large size) pod. Have plugged it in and waited a while. Then tried to locate with WiFi app.  No luck. App won't find it. Bluetooth working fine on my phone.

FYI, I already have 4 mini pods.
