Does resetting modem's password change IP address?

"IPCONFIG /ALL (in a command line in Windows) will tell you under the heading Default Gateway."

Then I logged in, and changed my modem's password. Does this change my external IP address

Changing the modem password does not change the IP address.

No, as the password has nothing to do with the IP address.

You could try powering down the modem for about 30 minutes and plug it in again, and it might or might not get assigned a different IP address than your last used one. Your MAC will not change regardless.
