This morning I noticed that my UDM Pro showed a no internet connectivity and my WAN IP being my external IP. After restarting my Bell modem, toggling advanced DMZ, and restarting my UDM Pro, I still had no internet connectivity (and my WAN IP being my external IP). Should I turn off Advance DMZ and allow my UDM Pro to get an internal IP, I am able to connect to the internet.
Did something change on the Bell side? Why would I get no internet connectivity using Advance DMZ?

This is a long shot as you are not using a direct PPPOE connection, but try setting VLAN 35 on the WAN interface of the UDM.
I don't think that is the issue, but you never know. You can also check the system log of the UDM to see if anything is logged related to your WAN IP/Connection. It's odd you get an IP but no network connectivity.

I would say its not the UDM though, seeing as ADMZ does not work with a Windows laptop connected directly to the Gigahub.

Does it work without ADMZ?

Yes, both the UDM and Windows laptop work when ADMZ is disabled.

Hi, I have a setup with advanced dmz that has been working flawlessly for three years, but this morning it stopped.
I have tried restarting everything, reseting the hh4000 but nothing works. Could a firmware update have broken things? I have the 1.7.11
Thanks
Amaury

Seems to be an issue. Few others have posted similar issues.

Good Day.
This is a community forum; a peer-to-peer website. As such, we do not have access to your account & equipment details. We would not know if a firmware update was being applied to your modem.
- Is your Home Hub 4000 working now?
- Are you able to login to your Home Hub 4000? If you go to Manage my Wi-Fi, is your Whole Home turned on or off?
- If your modem is not working, have you tried doing a complete power cycle?
- Did you have a power outage?
- Has your modem been reset to factory defaults?
- If your modem is up and working, you may need to reset your advanced DMZ settings.
If you require further asistance, your should contact Bell Internet tech support at: 1 866 310-BELL (2355)
Take care.

Thanks for your help,
1. It seems to be working as expected other the the ADMZ
2. I am able to log in, wifi is turned on as it has been since I installed, I use it as a Guest wifi.
3.N/A internet is working fine
4. No
5. I did from the web interface, ADMZ was reconfigured and still not working.
6. Tried that as well. No change

Thank you both for reaching out to the Bell Community 🙂
We have flagged this to our technical team, they are investigating further and working on a solution.
In the meantime, can you please try this workaround and let the Community know if ADMZ is restored?
- Remove all connections on the LAN-side.
- Reboot the modem and wait for it to fully come online (all lights blue and no message on OLED screen). *Keep in mind that the device configured for ADMZ should not be connected to the modem during the boot cycle*
- Then plug-in LAN devices.
We are looking forward to your reply,
- Patricia

Hello @BellPatricia
I just switched to using PPPoE.
ADMZ was always temperamental and I am happy to have PPPoE setup now with no performance loss.

@BellPatricia no luck for me.
Tried the process you described but don't see any change. On the HH4000 ADMZ interface my device says it has an IP as 169.1.1.1
Not sure what else to try
Thanks,
Amaury

Good day @Amaury,
Thank you for trying that out and getting back to us.
What type of firewall/router are you using in ADMZ mode which is not working (E.g. Brands, model numbers)?

It's a no brand name mini computer with an Opnsense installed on it. It had been working flawlessly and there was no changes, no update done anytime near this issue.
Thanks,
Amaury
