What is the default username and password for access to the Wireless Home Internet antenna status?

I forgot the default username/pw to access WHI ANTENNA status because it’s been a while since I accessed it. It’s the login under 192.168.3.1   . I thought maybe it was :  root   and pw: admin , but that doesn’t work.
Thanks for your assistance!

Thank you for your question. Look for a sticker on the back or bottom of your modem. The serial number, which is often about 15 characters long, is the default administrator password. You can find more information here

Hi @Chuck rock
Thank you for your post and welcome to the community.
Additional to what @dks has shared, sometimes the modem password (depending on the model) is "admin". Also, to access the modem you need to enter "192.168.2.1" into a web browser or "bell.ca/mymodem".
Looking forward to hearing how that goes.

That is the address I used for getting my antenna signal strength as well incase I ever needed to tweak it. User name (root) and password (admin). Worked fine up untill just recently...mine also does not work. It was for the Casa Systems connection to get the antena and other signal stength readings. The home hub is working with the standard 192.168.2.1

Thanks for your question and the additional information. The problem may not be the modem at all. Casa Systems filed for bankruptcy on April 2024 and ceased to do business in June 2024. The company was broken up and the assets sold off. Any software products are likely no longer supported and considered deprecated. You can do a search for more information on Casa Systems bankruptcy.

Thanks @Kamlander. You’re the only one that understands my issue and shares my issue. I also occasionally login to WHI antenna (192.168.3.1) to verify signal level from cell tower. Yeah, root / admin no longer works for login credentials…I didn’t login thru summer due to summer priorities. I hope that somebody out there has the answer without me spending a day on phone with Bell support ( or lack-of support).

DKS, thanks for the info about status of company CASA. Good to know. Unfortunately, I don’t think that is the reason I can’t log in to antenna since I know I successfully logged in this spring.
Unless someone has the magic info, I’ll try Bell support directly to see if it leads anywhere and report my findings here. Thanks everybody.

With all respect, software may work for a time after a company goes out of business, but at some point it no longer works. The Community Forum is part of Bell's support, although I am a volunteer, I do not work for Bell and have never worked for Bell. I simply respond out of my own knowledge base and experience, as do all the Community All-Stars.

BELL TECH SUPPORT ON PHONE WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE DEFAULT WHI ANTENNA LOGIN CREDENTIALS (192.168.3.1)

Sorry Kamlander , but I spent an hour phone with elevated tech support and the result was the only Bell employees that would have that info are the WHI install techs that come to the house, of course at a cost!

I also tried this a few days ago...spent many minutes on phone..tried to get second level tech support to get an answer...she eluded to the fact that we no longer have access to the CASA...and said we should have never had it !!!

She also said maybe a tech could be sent out to check outside equipment at a cost !!!

now when I think the signal is weak I just reset the LITTLE black box as she called it and hope for a better channel connection....Starlink is looking better to me now...even at the extra cost...Canadian hardware is now free ..
