I received an email last month about the price increases coming in February 2025. The email said that there would be a $2.50 increase per TV service. What is a TV service? Does this mean the number of TVs connected to the network or the number of TV channel packages? Beyond the basic channel package, I currently subscribe to two other packages. Thank you.

I can’t speak to account specifics but there is no email saying your charges will increase. Any such announcements are in your monthly bill itself, in advance of any fee increase.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
I cannot provide you with a definitive answer. I can only speculate that is related to a price internet price change.
Pricing change notifications are sent out at least 2 months in advance. Notices can be seen directly through your MyBell profile
To see these you would need to:
- Sign into your MyBell account
- Select "My bills and payments"
- Select "Past bills"
- Select the "View" button beside the bill that you would like to see
- There will be spot that says "Messages or Important Messages" and a (+) sign that you can click to review the important messages.
Additionally, should you receive paper bills, the notice will be at the top of each service under the billing details (if applicable).
Should you require further billing information & an explanation for the price change, you should contact Bell Customer Service.
Take care.

Anyone else have a promo end and a price increase all at the same time . I am tired of switching providers back and forth. Anyone have luck securing a better price by calling Bell I don’t want to be waiting an hour on line for nothing .

I signed up for internet in March this year. The price quoted was 70.00 month with a 10.00 discount for the 1st year, making my monthly payment 60.00. Now it is 66.00 per month. Will I still get the quoted price of 70.00 per month next March, or will I be billed 76.00? Also, why don't I get the bundle discount? I have Bell eXpressvue, internet and 2 cell phones.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
I will do my best to answer your question based solely on the limited information you have provided.
As a starting point, we do not have access to your account & billing records. The price you were quoted is $70.00 - $10.00 / month discount = $60.00. Have you received a price increase on your most recent bill for $6.00? If so, your bill be $66.00 / month for the next 12 months. Assuming there are no account changes, etc. your monthly price would be $76.00 / month after the 12-month discount comes to an end. If you are unsure, then you should call Bell Customer Service accounts & billing to confirm your monthly charges.
Bundle prices & promotions are offered from time to time on Bell.ca
Generally speaking, multiple discounts are not applied on top of each other for the same services. If you are looking for further discounts and or bundling promotions beyond what you are receiving today, it is best that you discuss this with a Bell Customer Service representative. Please call: 1 866 310-BELL (2355) or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device.
They are far more knowledgeable & better equipped to answer billing & promotional questions than we can.
Take care.

Thank you for your question. Please check your bills from the last two months. Notices of any rate changes are found there. You can also see them on the MyBell web page or app.

Bell in Mt experience does not send emails if notices of increases. They are found on the first page of billing section of the mybell account app and on the related section on the bill under the specific service section. So on the bill read all sections top to bottom and notice the now mandatory notice to know your rights under CRTC. Currently their are three consumer bill of rights from internet, TV, mobile. Note home and smart home services owned but run as a subsidiary of Bell under name alarm com is not included, but I read a recommendation submitted as they are three year contracts with tied in discounts which the person who submitted as it being a barrier to moving internet and/or mobility as each provides a discount of 5.00 each which if you remove your alarm.com services will go up 5.00 for each service of the remaining security contract. Say 24 months after 1 year in you will pay 120.00 more.
CRTC is definitely looking at righting all services in one code and defining more clarity for the customer.
For now I dislike it as much as everyone else, but read every bill, yes they are long, read them closely every month.
CRTC is reviewing closely transparency of new contracts and timed increase so we know what happens with a new contract when we there is an already planned increase.
I have watched the cat and mouse game providers and CRTC and CCTC for a long time and CRTC is constantly having public review, placing guidelines while aiming to increase restrictions and barriers to changing companies to promote competition begin the limited number of providers.
Oh one other item they are reviewing is the automated activation on your account of the US and international roaming. They want more transparency on choice of roam on home internet and other mobile services versus pay as you go with easy comparisons. I have used the roaming option once in all the years with three companies due to a car failure, and calls for AAA, tow truck services, taxis, rental, and hotels. Once we got to hotel and other wifi hotspots we went to pay as you go rates. That first time and only time I did it it was a real pain getting a customer service agent to tell me the text message to turn it off. Lots of don't worry, it protects you from overcharged roaming. If I know rates and choices I can monitor my use.
So read your bills.

My bill has increased too much. Why should I stay with Bell? Make me an offer. Your Price used to $196. It was raised to $224, now it is $235. Seems like you don't like me any more.
My best.

We have satellite TV, continuously losing channels with price increases. Have been loyal customer for 25 years or so, decided to called asking why losing more and more channels, but price going up....
Supervisor couldn't have cared less, just told me to watch for for price discounts, said he couldn't offer me any?? Also had nothing to say about price increase, didn't answer questions, not sure if he hung up, as he never spoke again, leaving me to end call.
In this day and age, lots of cheaper streaming options. I was trying to stay loyal, but time to call competitors. The younger generations don't bother with TV programming, Bell will be the next Blackberry with this service.
