Is it possible to cancel my Fibe tv and internet via MyBell? I understand I can call on the phone but have trouble hearing sometimes and prefer a "written" confirmation that I've cancelled those services (but am keeping my land line).
Is there anywhere or any way, on MyBell, to confirm that I purchased my PVR / receiver from Bell way back when? I agreed to pay extra for a certain number of years and then it would "be all mine", as explained to me at the time. The online bills don't go back far enough to show this (over 10 years ago). There are no equipment rentals on my recent bills, also no option to "deactivate" my PVR / receiver like there is on the other 2 devicrs that play but don't record. Do either of these prove that I purchased it? I did read a thread elsewhere on here that a customer with a satellite receiver was told they had to return or pay for it even though they, too, were under the impression they'd purchased it.
Lastly, is it best to wait for labels to arrive in the mail or try to print my own through the "return equipment" procedure? I realize returning equipment does not cancel the service. And do we have a choice between using Purolator or Canada Post?
Thanks very much for any help or insight.

Call the 1800 number. Wait for prompt for cancellations. Be prepared for strong offers to stay. If you really want to go use the broken record method. 8nteruote and say I want to cancel on this date.
Be aware of possible cancellation fees which you will find in your original terms. Always keep a copy of your terms in your email and read them and understand them so you know what it may cost you.
You should get a cancellation order email shortly after processing. If you don't call in and confirm or escalate as sometimes the order does not get processed. I learned this recently the hard way and hopefully my final bills will be fixed three months after the original order didn't get processed.
Also ask rep on phone for exact details and possible timing of any credits to prepaid amounts to cancellation date and you should get a shipping return label shortly afterward. There is a link here somewhere about return labels. Finally be sure to keep all correspondence and receipts from shipping agent for months afterwards.

If you haven’t already contacted Bell to cancel your TV service, please do so before you return your rental equipment. Returning your rental equipment does not cancel your service.
To cancel your Bell Fibe TV or Satellite TV service after it’s been activated, call: 1 866 310-BELL (2355) or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device.
After your TV service is cancelled, rental equipment return instructions will be sent to you.
You will need to return your rental equipment within 30 days, an equipment non-return fee may be charged to your account for each piece of rental equipment outstanding. Do not return your rented equipment to a Bell store.

Thanks for your question. Are you asking Bell to pick up a receiver for repair or return? If so, the return process is by prepaid mail. You can find instructions here . Bell does not pick up equipment.

Good Day.
The receiver you wish to return, is it due to a repair replacement that you wish to send back to Bell or as a result of a change or cancellation of your Bell Satellite TV service? If this return is due to a cancellation of your TV service, have you contacted Bell Satellite TV beforehand? If not, then you need to do so.
If you wish to return your rental equipment back to Bell. Please go to the following link & follow the instructions that are included.
Bell - Equipment return (bellresidentialreturns.ca)
Were you charged a non-return fee? If so, once you have returned rented equipment after being charged a non-return fee, it takes up to two billing cycles from the date you returned the equipment to receive the credit on your monthly invoice.

Should you require further assistance, please contact Bell Customer Service Satellite TV: 1 866 897-4117

I asked that my TV and Internet services to be canceled on the 27th August 2025 after speaking with the Bell customer service they told me that I will be charged until the 30th August 2025 ? Why would I be charged for a further 3 days when I will not be using the Bell services?
That's why I am switching service provider. Poor customer service
