My account on has a mobile number, however bell offers deals to users who have multiple mobile numbers. How can I transfer the mobile number from this account to my parent's account to take advantage of the deals?

Hi,
I currently am the owner of the internet bill right now, and my father recently moved into my home and wants to pay so that the next bill will have his name under it.
What would be involved to make this happen? Transfer of account? Can we just pay with his credit card?

Good Day.
There are any number of options available for your father to pay your bill. What is your preferred method of payment? You can do any of the following:
- You can just pay with his Credit card.
- Set up an Pre-authorized payment on MyBell - One Bill by Bank or Credit card payment
- One time payments on MyBell each month. Bank or Credit card.
- Your father could setup Bell as a Payee with your account number on his bank's website.
- Set you up as a payee on his bank's website. He can set up a monthly transfer to your account for you to continue as the account owner.
- You can transfer the responsibility of your Bell residential service to someone in the same residence without service being interrupted. There is a a $25.00 service charge to do so.
- Etc. etc.

Hey there,
Thanks so much for the response! I have one more question though if you could answer.
If he pays the bill with his credit card while the account is still under me, would the bill show my name or his name?
Thanks.

Good Day.
The account is in your name. How you pay it, is entirely up to you. You are responsible for the account & billing. The bill will remain in your name.
You can add your father as an authorized contact by logging in to your MyBell web account. Select > My profile > Billing profile > One Bill . He would then be allowed to make changes to your service over the phone.
Take care.

Dear Bell Fibe Internet Experts,
Thank you for reading this question. My rental unit's tenants are leaving in August, and they are using Bell Fibe 50. It happens that I also use Bell's Internet (Fibe 500). My wife and I will be moving into my rental unit in August, so we need to keep the Bell Fibe 50 service running.
What is the procedure to transfer my tenants' Bell Fibe 50 service from their MyBell account to my MyBell account?
Thank you!
Mike

Good Day.
Your tenants would need to agree to transfer responsibility for their Bell Home phone service to someone in the same residence without service being interrupted.
The transaction requires the agreement of both parties. The new customer will take responsibility for all past and current charges on the account.
A $25 service charge will appear on the next bill, which includes associated changes to the directory listing.
If you're transferring your phone line to someone else because you're moving, remember that you must arrange the transfer before your moving day.
For further details, I would suggest that you call: 1 866 310-BELL (2355) to transfer responsibility of your line to someone else. We recommend that the person taking over the service be present for this call.
It may be just as easy & simpler for both of you to arrange to have your existing services installed on your move in dates at your new adresses. I will leave that with you to consider.
Take care.

You can give your mobile phone, phone number and contract to another person or a company that will continue to use the service and accept legal responsibility for paying the bills. This is called changing ownership of your phone.

Hi,
Recently, I signed up with Bell for Fibre Internet , TV and Home Phone. My mom has Bell home phone service ( copper land line) and would like to port her phone number over to my account. Can this be done ? If not, any helpful suggestions as how she could keep her current phone number. She is a senior and not very tech savvy.
Also, I would like to cancel my Fibe TV Service ( I have not self install or activate it). Can I call Bell Customer Service to cancel it. The TV service came bundle with the fibre internet and home phone service promotion. My brother already has a good TV package with another provider. I don't have much choice since everyone in my neighbourhood are forced to move their current phone service to fibre. Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
The Bell Community is a place for you to ask questions, find answers and share your thoughts. This is a true peer-to-peer community space; as such, we do not have access to your ether account & details.
We would need a lot more details in order to provide you with any assistance.
- Port her phone number to your account? You mentioned that she was already with Bell. Do you mean transfer her account to you? Is she moving & changing address or will she be keeping the Home phone where she is living at now & only adding the service to your account for billing purposes only?
- If you have already signed up with Bell Fibe Internet, TV & Home phone, you will need to contact Bell Customer Service to discuss & arrange for any changes that you wish to make.
- Your brother's TV package with another provider does not appear to be relevant to your changes.
She can transfer responsibility for her Bell Home phone service to someone in the same residence without service being interrupted. The transaction requires the agreement of both parties. We recommend that the person taking over the service be present for this call.
It is somewhat difficult to answer any of your questions with the limited information you have provided. You need to sit down & explain in detail what you have today & what you want to have tomorrow. For instance, are we talking about two accounts merging into one account. Two separate addresses? One Home phone service or two? Fibe TV bundled with Internet & Home phone being cancelled & changed this to only Internet & maybe Home phone?
It is best that contact Bell Customer Service ASAP with a complete list of just exactly what you wish to keep , change, remove or add-on.
To make changes to your existing accounts, please call: 1 866 310-BELL (2355) or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device.
Take care.
