Looks like the interface changed for the worse. The guide does not take me directly to what is currently playing and I now have to click the play button. Who comes up with this? More clicks instead of less clicks? Ok, ya everyone is loving that.
Anyone know how to get the old interface back?

Well to be honest you made the service worst for customers who go in using their browser and Bell log in....with trying to figure this out for the last several days with Bell Reps I can longer get into Goggle play to download the app since I have no cell phone and Goggle can no longer verify me by my landline because it has been used too many times.....so now I seem to be stuck with something that does not work for me or my viewing habits and am paying big bucks for it so really am not a happy customer! Bell must be made aware that many people do not have all the services that you think they have

Hi, I disagree the web release is not the same as either the TV or Mobile device apps. It does not have the same features and to say it was to align it with those is not correct. As many have said it is a downgrade to what it was and it is lesser of an app to what the other devices offer.

@AlexS ,the web interface has changed for Edge, Chrome, etc. The average user may not recognized some of the subtle visual differences.
The TV Guide Filters are the same & have not changed. This is not the issue that is being raised in the original post & subsequent replies.
For example, have a look at the other web app pages, Home, Shows, Movies, etc.
Filters is no longer on the Home Page. Display Content is preset. It is no longer an optional setting. Categories can not be added, changed or deleted. E.g. Continue enjoying is missing, etc. etc.
Let me know what you think.
Take care.

Geez, why did Bell change the look and functionality of the guide in my web browser (Chrome)? Please bring back the multifunction panel on the right (Description, Trending, On Now, Recent Channels, Favourites). I rely on it to scroll through channels and most importantly, jump through my recently viewed list. It was the best part of watching through the browser. This is so frustrating.

The new system is terrible, can it go back to the old interface then with the trending,On Now, recents etc on the right side? LIke they say, if it ain't broken don't fix it.There was nothing wrong with the interface, please go back to the old style. Signed, Everybody

I put in a ticket today, 3-23-2024 regarding the app changes; I finally had enough today; and have been struggling to figure out why they would remove features. Makes NO sense at all. Please revert back to the previous version that was feature rich; it wasn't perfect; but it was waaay better than it is now.

I have been working with a Rep as well but getting really nowhere. She is well aware of my dislike for this interface since I can not watch tv my normal way. She calls about every 2-3 days to see if anything has changed......I try not to laugh because really what well change unless the interface changes.....but she is trying! Yes was is perfect no but it was pretty darn good!!! Now they have literally destroyed it. I am hoping that enough people like yourself complain so they are forced to change it back!

It's worse than that. Since the update to the new look guide, when browsing the guide, I'll click on something to read the blurb, and when I return to the guide, it's kind of a crapshoot where in the guide I will find myself. Sometimes, it's in a part of the guide where the last watched channel is at the top (which is not where I was when I left the guide), but sometimes it seems to be just some random point in the guide, or maybe I'm just not recognizing the returns pattern..

Additionally, to the web app part; I also watch on my smart tv; and use the controller bell sent for use with this product. However, the change of the interface also changed on the smart tv. And, there is no PIP any longer; its there, but its unusable, because there is no cancel button. Press 'home[ = 'PIP'... scroll, change my mind but --, there is no 'cancel' button. I am forced to press home again, which takes me back out of the interface, closes PIP, then I have to locate guide again, and reselect the program (just to return to where I was before I started the PIP).. Effectively, there is no PIP if there is no cancel button. I don't always want to commit to something else I'm browsing. The new interface is restrictive, it removed features. It was untested, should not have passed quality control. Who ever designed this interface should be fired in my opinion. Back to the browser version; well, its just ridiculous -- you're competing with Netflix and Prime, but the old interface wasn't up to par with any other browser service, and the most recent took all interactive features away. Removing the right side guide altogether? Why? Can someone explain why that decision was made. please. I want to understand, as a developer myself -- please explain.

Pretty sure that other entirely browser based apps seem to be able to meet WCAG standards while delivering a feature rich interface. I do expect Bell to go back to the designers and work on fixing the issues. Its been weeks already; what have you done lately?

Unfortunately that does not surprise me since the customer reps have really run out of things to tell customers to make this situation better

I hate the new fibe tv app on chrome. bring back the old version - it was more sensible to use.
