I just got an official-looking email from Bell (see screenshot) below asking me to update my email account settings, and failure to do so within 24hrs will result in deactivation.

None-the-less, the "from (reply-to)" email address was the clue/giveaway that this is a phishing scam.  Be aware everybody - and DO NOT click on any of links provided.

I received an email supposedly from Bell Aliant saying my sympatico email has to be updated by June 3rd or it will be eliminated.  Is this legit?

I just received a email from Bell Alliant to update my email info or it will be disconnected in 48 hours Is it a scam or fishing I really not sure if I should answer to this email thanks

Scam! Bell would never send you a message asking you to update your Email info or it will be disconnected in 48 hour. If it includes a pdf to verify your Email, do not open! Beware of phishing & malware. Report as junk & delete. Never open a link in any Email.

Caution is the better part of valour! Rather to be safe than sorry!

We recently purchased a google nest hub2 and now I have received two emails saying I requested modem and wi-fi passwords which I didn't. Any idea why I am receiving these emails with my password information?

Thanks in advance.

I receive an email saying that "my Mailbox will be shutting down today due to upgrades.  Click the link below to update my account to avoid losing my mails.  Notice:  Ignoring this message would lead to the termination of my Mailbox without permission."

Has anyone else received this email?  Is it valid?  I have forwarded several mails to phish@bell.ca but not sure if this one or not?????

It can't be said enough. These are *all* spam, fraud or phishing e-mails seeking your login and account credentials. Some of the e-mails in the last few days are using AI generated personal notes that begin with the phrase "I hope this finds you well." I am well, and I am a bit smarter than AI. Marked as Junk in Outlook and deleted.
