My e-mail keeps defaulting to "block all images". I can't get it to stay with "show all images".

My Outlook and Bell Mail do not sync.  If I open and delete an email in Outlook, Bell Mail shows it as unread

Here we go again....today 5-9-24 each Sympatico email message viewed has IMAGES BLOCKED....and I CANNOT  make any changes.....I CAN OPEN SETTINGS, but the page is "blank", so I cannot adjust the Image setting to open all. WHEN will something positive be done here by BELL ???  PLEASE, PLEASE.   MHC

The problem persists with me also. Repeatedly defaults to "Block All Images", and even when "Allow All Images" is selected (and saved), many messages still do not show images automatically. Frustrating to have to either "Show Images" or modify settings.

Viewing Bell Webmail Using Firefox V. 1250.3 / Windows 10 V. 22h2

To KR2362....What irks me more, I CANNOT get any action on my "blank" SETTINGS page (began to be Blank today....worked in past !!!).  Therefore....I cannot view ANY Image in any email today......we will see how long this persists !!!!!!!!!!  Rats.  Sympatico Win 10  Firefox  HP desktop

Hey Bell!!

When are you going to fix the image block problem on Bell email. Images are constantly blocked for no reason and when system is manually told to 'show all images' it just goes back to blocking them sometimes in the SAME SESSION!! There are multiple complaints and all that happens is the same questions from Bell. Believe it or not, people DO know the difference between 'show all images' and 'show images from contacts only'. This issue has been going on for more than a year and nothing has been done. Why not??? For the record, before my reply is the same questions everyone else gets, using Windows 11, Google Chrome browser and Bell email only with only ONE email address and 'SHOW ALL IMAGES' is selected......... Let's get on the ball - worked fine before should be working fine now.......

I am still having problems with showing images in bell.net. For a while, my selection of <Show All Images> seemed to be sticking (I was seeing all images in all emails). However, in the last few days, every time I open a new email, all images are blocked again. When this happened the first time (lately- a several days ago), I (again) reset to <Show All Images>, but after 1-2 days, all images in each email (including those received today) are blocked yet again, This problem is NOT fixed, at least not for me. So frustrating that this issue has not been resolved!

Like everyone else on this thread, it is still happening to me, that periodically there are no images.  Sometimes it won't let you update your choice to "show all images", other times it will let you.  I'm good for a day or week or so, then here we go again, no images.

If you click on block all images and hit save, you should then be able to go back to show all images and hit save again.

or you can switch to Outlook and have no problems

couple of days ago I set the allow all images and saved.  Is ok so far,  just checked.

ToBellNick - this last several days I have not encountered any problems with the Image Blocks issue.....HURRAY !

Thanx also......Mac

I haven't kept track of the last time there was an issue, but I've been a while now, where my images are appearing as I open an e-mail.  Thank you for that.  Hopefully it will continue that way.
