Hello
There is an Internet Outage in my area impacting me (started on 5th March at 3:30 pm) and still in-going. Although Bell outage status says it’s resolved, whenever I call Bell they confirm the outage and give a sliding ETA. And there is zero communication from Bell to me.
This is in area code L5N.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
To check for Bell service outages, you can use the Bell outage check tool by entering your postal code or logging into your MyBell account. You can also find outage information in the MyBell app under "Outage Check".
If no outages are showing for your area & you are still experiencing issues this morning, try Bell's Virtual repair tool. It detects and fixes most issues with Fibe Internet, Fibe TV, Fibe TV app and Home phone services.

Take care.

When you go to the outages page it asks for your address. That’s very specific information so you would think the outages or in service report would be very accurate but it’s not. Sometimes it says no outages when there is an outage. Sometimes the opposite. For a service that’s out a lot why such poor information?

Good Day.
Thank you for posting your question.
The Bell outage page allows you to check if a service interruption is affecting your area, providing updates on current network status and estimated resolution times.
You can use it to confirm if your problem is a widespread outage or a localized issue by entering your address or postal code.
It also directs you to tools for virtual troubleshooting and booking a technician if necessary. E.g. Virtual repair tool
Take care.

It's the page for general outages. Your service might be having issues for other reasons.
You mentioned the service is out a lot. What service do you have and when there is an outage, are there any error codes displayed on the modem screen?

I’m in central Burlington Ontario
My internet has been down since Nov 7 around 9 am.
Tried all the usual stuff to reconnect, even checked the Bell site for outages but the message said there were no outages in my area
Call Bell only to be told my area is down and service may not be restored until Nov 10. I understand this is a first world problem but it irritates me that Bell is not updating their outage map
Rant over

Hey there @Gojays
Thank you for reaching out to the Bell community.
We wanted to check in and see if your service has been restored. If you are still having trouble please let us know and we will do our best to help. Be sure to provide more information as well. Such as which modem you have, what (if any) error message you see on the modem and what troubleshooting you have done so far.
Hope to hear from you soon,
