Bill payments question - DRO?

So i have had my account and have come to the end of my term and decided to keep my phone rather then trade it in and start over on a new contract. I get my bill abd my services are all paid up but the payment for my phone comes in and it's a extra 800$ on top of my services bill. There is no way to just keep making payments on that phone? I have to pay it all off at once? And my phone can be suspended because my phone is on the bill and not my services? I pay my services on time every time and put the extra towards my phone every time? Why should my services get cut off if I'm paying them on time because of the overdue amount........the overdue amount is my phone not my services.

Hi there @Soul.

Welcome to the Community.

It sounds like you had opted into our Device Return Option (DRO) when you first signed onto your agreement.

When you agree to DRO, you agree to have a portion of the cost of the phone deferred to the end of your term. The amount varies from phone to phone, but your options at the end of your term remain the same.

  • Return the phone in undamaged, working condition to a Bell store.
  • Pay the DRO amount in full.
