I was paying my bill using my Visa card without any problem from Dec 2021 - April 2022. Since May suddenly the Bell system does not like my card and tells me there is an error. My card works for all other utilities except Bell.
I contacted (via phone several times), customer service and they are unable to help. They want me to pay via bank which is not a preferred option. Its bypassing the problem.
Bell, please provide a solution.

Hey there @Kuki,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
This definitely sounds odd, have you contacted your credit card company to confirm a block is not preventing the charge from going through?

A month ago, our credit cards were canceled because someone was trying to impersonate us. Our new cards have been working everywhere now for a few weeks but when It tried to type that new information into the website to update our payment method, it keeps telling me the number is invalid. what am I to do? it's the number on my card! It works. Why is Bell deeming it invalid?

Hi there @Mombo49.
Welcome to the Community.
We just wanted to follow up to see if you've been able to complete a payment with your credit card yet?
If not, as @BellAntgio mentions above, we would suggest getting in touch with your credit card provider to make sure there isn't a block on this specific kind of transaction.
Let us know if you still need us.

The Bell site still refuses my card, claiming there is a problem with the number. But I'm paying for several other things, like subscriptions, cellphone, etc. using this new card. Only Bell is refusing to accept my card.

Hi!
I try to pay the fee using AMEX credit card...but it cannot accepted by the payment page.
I think AMEX has 15 number but you require 16 number.
So please let me know how to solve it.

Have you contacted AMEX? If not, you need to do so first & foremost.
Unfortunately, we can not solve a credit card user payment issue from within the Bell Community Forum. I do not believe your problem is with the card being 15 digits vs 16 digits. There may be a problem related to the credit card number, credit limit, payment amount, security check amount, identification, etc.
You should be aware that AMEX has introduced a number of additional security measures recently to reduce fraud. E.g. Gross income card holder check, 2 step-verification, etc.
I would think one simple call to AMEX will straighten this matter up.
Card issuers by number
The first six digits
- American Express credit card numbers are 15 digits long and begin with the number 3
- Visa credit card numbers are 16 digits long and begin with the number 4
- Mastercard credit card numbers are 16 digits long and most begin with the number
The next five digits
- Visa uses numbers 2 through 6
- Mastercard uses numbers 2 and 3, or 2 through 4, 5, or 6
- American Express uses numbers 3 and 4

Hi there, @Jeffpark. Thank you for your post.
We wanted to check in and see if you were still having issues completing payment with your American Express credit card. If so, could you confirm a few more details for the Community to be better able to assist?
- Have you been able to pay with your AmEx card to Bell previously?
- Have you made sure you're entering the information correctly? Has your card expired?
- Does your card work fine with other vendors and businesses?
- Are you able to try with a Visa or Mastercard credit card to see if those work instead, if possible?
- Are you trying to complete payment via the MyBell app, or in a web browser? If need be, you can also call into Customer Care and attempt payment via the automated IVR system.
Let us know if you were still in need of assistance.

HI!
This is the first try using AMEX card.
All information which I input is correct, I did it so many times.
I use AMEX card to other payment like Costco, Amazon and so on..
-----
When I pay, I use my laptop so it means "web browser".

Hi there @Jeffpark, thank you for your reply.
Just to clarify, are you able to test to see if you are able to make a payment using the MyBell App instead of logging into MyBell through a browser?
If you are still experiencing the issue, can you please share a screen shot of the error message (be sure to hide any personal information)?
We hope to hear back from you soon,

When i try to pay my bill it says
Unable to verify credit card
We were unable to verify the credit card details entered. Please review the information and try again. An error occurred as we were processing your payment. Before trying again, check back in a few minutes to see if your payment was applied.
ive been t try ing to pay it through the website and on the app too and it keep saying cat verify credit card even tho ive added my credit on my account. Im a day late on my bill and i don't want to pay a late fee because of this error. Ive waited like 10 mins if the payment went through but it didn't and when i tried again its the same error . How do i fix this?

Online Billing & Payments
Your easiest method of payment is setting up One Bill on MyBell. You can pay via your bank or using your credit card. It is automatic & you will never have a late payment. On MyBell you can also Make a Payment on the main page.
Payments made by any other means such as through your bank whether is is in person, online, or via a financial institution application must be cleared by the institution before the funds are forwarded to Bell. This can take upwards of 3-5 business for the bank to complete & 1-2 days further days to forward to Bell to credit your account. All bill payments must be received by Bell by the due date in order to avoid late payment charges. You should keep this in mind when you choose your preferred method of payment.
My recommendation for you would be choosing Pre-authorized payments using One Bill with either your bank or credit card as the method payment.
I have attached the following web link to assist you in setting up whichever method of payment you wish to choose.
In your web browser select the following web link & then choose > Select my bill type > Follow the onscreen instructions > Select whichever method you wish to use to pay your Bell bill. Once you make your choice, you will receive instructions on how to set up & complete this method of payment.

I literally have the same problem.
Your payment cannot be processed as requested.
Following the reversal of one or more past credit card payments, one-time credit card as a payment method is currently blocked for this account.
At the moment, you can either pay your bill through your financial institution or sign up for pre-authorized payments from your bank account.
