I had Fibe internet installed yesterday and ordered Fibe TV at the same time. The internet was set up fine and the modem was authenticated but I cannot access Fibe TV. It says ‘no account detected’ under the ‘Easiest’ login option, and my credentials don’t work under the ‘Best’ login option. Any idea why?

Hi @Quicksix
Welcome to the Bell Community, and thank you for your post 🙂
It sounds like the TV account has not been linked to your MyBell profile yet. Check out this post
from @WelshTerrier where you will find an article on how to link your account.
Please try that out, and let the Community know if you are still having trouble.

Good Day.
It is not a requirement to have Bell Fibe Internet in order to use the Fibe TV app. You will need to have a MyBell account & some for of service in order to access &use the Fibe TV app. E.g. cellular, other internet service.
Please log in to your MyBell web account & verify if your TV service is listed on the main service page. In order for you to use the Fibe TV app, your TV service must be added.

I am having the same problem as Ryan1. My Bell home internet and Fibe TV was installed two days ago. I installed the Fibe TV app on my iPad and neither login option works.

Good Day.
Please log in to your MyBell web account & verify all of your services are linked & are listed on the main.
In order for you to use the Fibe TV app, your TV service connected & linked to your MyBell account.
The Easiest method of login can be used when you are only using the Fibe App from at home. The Best method of log in, can be used at home or away from home. You will login with your MyBell account login username & password to access the Fibe App.

Hi there @Ssouna,
Thanks for reaching out to the Bell Community.
It is a bit strange that you are only getting this error on one device. If the issue is still happening please try to delete/reinstall the app, as well reboot your Apple TV.
Let us know if you need any more help.

Just had a major 1 hour Bell outage. I think the whole province was affected and other ISPs too. My internet, phone and TV box are working but now Bell TV app not working (says Account not detected)! Not sure why this is happening as I can login to to MyBell on PC and see all my services with their account #s.
Any ideas on how to get this fixed?

Good Day.
When logging in to the Fibe TV app for the first time, you’ll be prompted to allow access to the device location. By allowing this, you can log in to the app with the Easiest method. If you don’t have this option, check that you’re connected to your primary Wi-Fi network.
The Easiest method of login can be used when you are only using the Fibe App from at home. The Best method of log in, can be used at home or away from home. You will login with your MyBell account login Username & password to access the Fibe App.
Here is a checklist for you to consider:
- Please reboot your device.
- Reset your Wi-Fi connection. Turn off > On
- Forget this Wi-Fi connection.
- Setup Wi-Fi connection.
Take care.

It started working at about 1pm (3 hours after Bell services were back up and running). Was very annoying as family members were not able to watch TV on the firestick app during that time.
