I got an email saying I used wrong account number to make my payment last month. Tried to insert new one bill 14 digit account number but bank says not enough numbers. So what do you look up to add bell one bill as a new payee with new account number.

If you have access to MyBell, download a pdf of your bill.

Top right hand corner, you will see Client ID number. That is the number you need.

Hey Rayray,

I would be careful with any email you get regarding account information.  It could be an email scam trying to get you to click on a link and entering sensitive information.  My recommendation is to go directly to your banks website (or call them) and not click any links from the email to avoid Phishing attempts.

If you are certain you need to update your bank information, read below...

It could be you selected the wrong payee when you selected "Bell Canada Ontario".

When adding a Bell One Bill as a payee through your bank, you should be selecting something like "BELL ONE BILL/FACT UNI-14 DIG".  Searching for "Bell" can be a little confusing because there are so many options to select from.  I found searching for "One Bill" a lot easier because it will give me only 1 option to select from.

You will be asked to provide a 14 digit account number.  This is your Bell One Bill customer ID number.  it's 14 digits long that includes a series of "Z"s in it.  Something like 123456789ZZZ009.

To get that #, log into your MyBell online account and click on the "View current bill" button you will see a bar or section with your account information.  On the right, it will give you your "Customer ID number"

Should look like this;

Customer ID number
123456789ZZZ009
(14-digits number for online/telebanking)

When you get your Bell One Bill Customer ID number, and if you're unsure which payee to select, just call your bank and they will add it for you.

I have the account number but when I put it in the bell Canada Ontario as a payee it states that number is not long enough. I need to know the name of account to add it as a payee on my banks app

Hello everyone,

I went for a small holiday in Canada and 2019 and incurred charges.

I would like to pay my bill. I have tried a couple of times over thr years but it won't allow me because it is very old.

I have learning disability. Bell mobile never send me notifications of emails of overdue bill so I don't remember.

I do not have a credit card. I have a debit mastercard.

I would like to pay this. Please help. I have rang a few times but they always ask for a credit card, which I do not have.

Hi jenna,

Alterbnative #1: with a debit card there are four ways of paying your bill. The fastest and easiest is by downloading the mybell app then creating an account using the phone number that is on the account or the account number.

Alternative #2: if you are unable to do that, then you can take a copy of the bill to your bank and pay that way.

Alternative #3: if you can't find a copy of the bill, then you can contact 310-2355 (310-bell) and once validated, they can provide your 14 digit account number and the amount owing. Write down your 14 digit account number and owing amount and take that to the bank. Instead of calling, you can also go to your local bell store, provide your ID and they can give you your account number and amount owing. Keep in mind the store method only works if the account is still active, stores cannot pull up closed or suspended accounts.

alternative #4 if you bank with an unconventional bank that doesn't have a physical location, you can also write cheque with the amount owing as well as the account number in the notes and take that to your local bell corporate store where they can mail it off for you. Make sure that it is a corporate store instead of a dealer by calling ahead of time as I don't believe that dealers can do this.

The 14 digit number can be found on the top right of your bill, you'll know you found it because sometimes the last couple of digits have zzz or UOC in it. Alternatively if you are unable to access your ebill, you can go into a bell store, provide id and they will give you the 14 digit number, alternatively you can call bell at 310-2355, and once validated they can give the number to you.

Look for the one that says 14 digit.

I took a home internet service which I only used for a month I went to bell to make the payment and they gave me the account number I tried to make the payment from my bank account and it won't allow me I don't know how to do it I don't know why they didn't receive me payment at the physical point now I try to enter my bell and only my phone bill appears I don't know what I should do as I pay this I have until tomorrow

I need to pay my Bell bill through my BMO bank account.

When I tried to add BELL as a payee it showed multiple names, I need you to tell me which one to select. Thank you
