I got an email saying I used wrong account number to make my payment last month. Tried to insert new one bill 14 digit account number but bank says not enough numbers. So what do you look up to add bell one bill as a new payee with new account number.

Thank you for your question. It depends on where your geographic location is. Manitoba is different from the Maritimes, for example. You might wish to contact your bank’s help line to be sure.

Good Day.
Is your account with Bell, Bell MTS or Bell Aliant?
If your account is with Bell, you can pay your bill online by logging in your institution financials application or website & setting up:
BELL ONE BILL - 14 DIGITS as a payee.
Customer ID number
This 14-digit number is needed when paying your bill over the Internet or with telephone banking. You can find this number on the top right corner of the first page of every bill, just above the Account Summary.
Your OneBill Explained_pdf_Bill_Insert_webformat_EN.indd (bell.ca)
You can also set up a pre- authorized payment or one time payment with either your bank account details or credit card on MyBell.
If your account is with Bell MTS, the following web link will show you how to set this up.

Bell MTS Home Services is th payee for residential services.
If you bill is with Bell Aliant, the following web link will show you how to set this up.

Bell Aliant as the payee.
Take care.

I have tried so many times to enter Bell One as a payee on my TD account "Add a Payee" - I verified several times (including cut-paste from the bill) the 14-digit number. Each time it gives me an error. I called the Bank and they said it's a Bell thing. Any suggestions? Is this a known issue??

Good Day.
Please double check which Bell company your services are connected to? Do not cut & paste when entering financial or account information on any bank, credit card or government web site.
Which part of the country do you live in? Which services do you have with Bell? Are you receiving your bill from Bell, Bell MTS or Bell Aliant?
Log in to your financial institutions web site. Select > Pay Bills. Select > Add Payee. Type > Bell in the search box. Scroll through the list until you come to the appropriate corresponding company payee name. Select > One of the Bell companies that matches the company name that is billing you now from the list below.
I have included below three different Bell companies. Choose the company that is providing your services & follow the instructions that I have included for that company.
If this is easier for you, you can also set up a pre- authorized payment or one time payment with either your bank account details or credit card on MyBell.
If your account is with Bell MTS, the following web link will show you how to set this up.

I've read through most of these Replies. Not one has worked with the payee at my bank BMO. Just typing "BELL" into the BMO set up payee search box returned 59 selections with "BELL" in the name such as "BELL CANADA ONTARIO" or "BELL ONE BILL/FACTURE UNIQUE - 14 DIGIT" or some other QUEBEC version of the same ONTARIO version and a bunch of others that sound like they should work. Unfortunately not one selection was "BELL ONE BILL - 14 DIGITS", that would be too easy. I have a suspicion that not one BMO customer has a BELL payee set up on their bank account. I've been forced to pay my ONE BILL by Credit Card each time, the shame!
The biggest problem isn't the 14 digit Customer ID account number, if you have the correct "BELL" payee out of the 59 search results then your 14 digit Customer ID number should work. The warning about the SCAMMERS is real, why are there so many "BELL" search results when there probably should be just a couple, or at least 3. I would think all banks would have the same list of search results when you type in just "BELL" in the payee search box that return 59 selections, or at least very close to it as each bank may be different.
Where are the banks getting their payee information from anyway? Anyone could set up a Business with BELL in the name and a 14 digit customer number in response, that would be a good SCAM as so many customers of BELL would select the wrong BELL selection, enter their 14 digit number and FREE money would go straight into the SCAMMERS account from unsuspecting BELL customers. WOW. Maybe BELL should take the responsibility to make sure the banking system is receiving the correct payee information. It may have been just "BELL" at one time, but it has swelled to far more search results with "BELL" in their name.
Help, I'm still paying my ONE BILL with a Credit Card.

If we did, we could give you the precise information you are looking for. We need you to work with us if we are going set you up with BMO.
Let's start with: What province do you live in? Is your service provider Bell?
If you live in Ontario & your account is with Bell, you can pay your bill online by logging in your institution financials application or website & setting up:
BELL ONE BILL - 14 DIGITS as a payee.
Customer ID number
This 14-digit number is needed when paying your bill over the Internet or with telephone banking. You can find this number on the top right corner of the first page of every bill, just above the Account Summary.

If this is easier for you, you can also set up a pre- authorized payment or one time payment with either your bank account details or credit card on MyBell.
Let the community know & we will be here to assist you if this is not correct.
Thank you for posting your question.

I have an outstanding balance - and Bell has suspended my mobile services. So I go to add them to my online banking (I thought my internet/ Fibe and the mobile were on one bill, so have been paying all into one account by accident). BUT:
I can't call Bell. Mobile services are off. Won't even let me call them!
For some reason, can't Chat Live, buttons fade out - even though my internet is paid up!
Went to add Bell Mobility to banking anyway, but they want to send a Verification Code - by text, push (mobile internet), or call! I can't add them to pay the bill!
SOMEONE HELP ME. I've spent 2 hrs. trying to find a way to resolve! I want to add them as payee (properly this time), pay the . bill, and get my phone back!

I did use the 14-digit Customer ID# that my bill showed, but my bank still got an error that it's requiring 14 digit. Still not be able to add Bell Canada-One Bill on my list of Payees. Any advise?

Good Day.
Please verify that you have chosen the correct Payee. If you entered Bell Canada-One Bill, that is not correct.
Go to the Payee search box & type: BELL ONE BILL - 14 DIGITS
Your Bell Customer ID # is the number that you will enter on your bank web site: It is 14-digits. It can be composed of numeric & alpha characters. You can find this number on the top right corner, (not the left corner or centre) of the first page of every paper bill & as well on the top right corner of your online One Bill. (14-digits number for online/telebanking)
Take care.

I've called multiple times now trying to set up my online auto pay because for whatever absurd reason you need to use a bank account and not a credit card to receive your monthly discount. Every time I've spoken to them they've said they would have someone look into it and then a new month rolls around and it still doesn't work and I'm sick of calling customer support and waiting on hold just get the same response. Has anyone run into a similar issue? How did you get it resolved?
